Friends of Alice Birney Elementary want you to know about an opportunity to support the students of Alice Birney Elementary by purchasing books their teachers have identified as needed or desirable to have in the library. The resulting book Wish List is available on Amazon. Here is the link.

About Friends of Alice Birney Elementary: Like many schools, Alice Birney Elementary realized several years ago that the state’s ongoing, structural funding problems threatened the school’s ability to continue its exciting International Baccalaureate programs and concomitant growth in student achievement. In April 2010, a small group of parents incorporated The Friends of Alice Birney Elementary and began planning how they could raise enough money to secure the school’s future as a vibrant IB World School. In 2011 we were granted 501 (c)(3) status, making FOABE a non-profit charitable organization (Tax ID # 27-2414127).
