The Vermont Street Bridge is finally getting a new paint job, compliments of the City of San Diego. Work is scheduled to take 40 working days (from June 3rd start date), with working hours scheduled from M-F, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm. If bridge closure is required, notification signs will be posted at both ends of the structure. Door hanger notices will also be distributed to neighbors within 300 feet of the bridge at least five days in advance of any closure, and the bridge will always re-open on weekends starting at 3:30 pm, Friday.
