The annual Spring Clean UH Up is June 2. We are hoping to see you with smiling faces and wearing gardening clothes to help us keep the Gateway to UH looking beautiful!

Our winter rains have helped plants grow on the north side of the Hwy 163 entrance at Lincoln and Washington. Now they are overgrown, turning brown and ready to be cut or pulled. And there is always trash to collect. Learn more about how you can participate with your fellow UH residents… and even win gift cards from local stores and restaurants.

University Heights is celebrating its 1888 beginnings in and around Trolly Barn Park on August 10 with a series of fun-filled community events, raffles, music and other activities. Though we’re looking into applying for grants, contributions are welcome. We now have a 501(c)(3) tax exemption, so your 2013 donations may be tax-deductible. Join your neighbors in planning, supporting and celebrating this landmark anniversary. Learn more about planned activities to celebrate UH from the Victorian times through today, as well as how you can get involved.

University Heights is celebrating its 1888 beginnings in and around Trolly Barn Park on August 10 with a series of fun-filled community events, raffles, music and other activities. To celebrate this milestone anniversary, historic walk/bike tours, art & essay contests for Birney Elementary and a variety of historic-themed offerings are being planned. Thanks to Council President Todd Gloria for agreeing to be our Honorary Chair and being our sponsor, which enabled the city to waive the usage fees for the Trolley Barn Park.

The 125 Anniversary Committee is preparing many fun activities for all ages. Though we’re looking into applying for grants, don’t hesitate to contribute in any way that you can.
